A collection of original paintings based on the mosaic zodiac panels high on the front of the Wedgwood Institute, Burslem. Built around 1865 in the Venetian Gothic style, this building is one of Staffordshire’s jewels but the detail is high above street level and easily missed. Each astrological symbol is painted using natural earth pigments in egg tempera with 24 carat shell gold details on 600gsm acid-free watercolour paper and set in an antique white mount, 12 x 12 inches.
